Its all about time, light and the frame. Its fantastic to see you working as a practitioner and good that your training your photographic eye. Could you make a series of photographs like this? Maybe 10 pictures running over ten days all shot at the same time in the morning. How would you approach this? What would you want to compunicate?
I think the colours in the picture reflect the context of the image, the blues reflect the cold and the silouettes of the trees reflect the darkness of the winter, the light spot in the bottom left corner indicates the sun is low in the sky also a characteristic of winter and the frost at the top gives a very nice touch to a very effective image :)
